Allard van Hoorn will use the residency period in the ISCP to go deep in research for extending his series ‘The Urban Songlines’ and making contacts in the New York artfield. In addition, he expects to be able to develop and perform a number of new performances, including a live performance in the Rothko Chapel at the invitation of the Blaffer Art Museum in Houston.
Esther Tielemans receives support for a residency period of one year in ISCP in New York. The American art tradition has been of great influence on the work of Tielemans. She expects the program from ISCP to give a substantive and visual boost and add new layers to her work. In addition, she hopes to get in touch with curators, artists and galleries with whom she can create a basis for further cooperation in New York and beyond.
