Place de la Concorde was the starting point for the research by Daniëlle van Ark into obelisks and fountains to realize new work of natural stone.
The work by Martijn in ’t Veld is centered on the observation of everyday objects. This is a meditative process which, by contrast, works best in a lively, dynamic context. In ‘t Veld wanted to use the everyday life of Paris to develop new work. He wanted to approach his new surroundings from the perspective of different French writers and philosophers.
