Capitalo, Chthulu, and a Much Hotter Compost Pile
Kunstraum Kreuzberg / Bethanien in Berlin receives support for the participation of Bram Kuypers and Madison Bycroft in the group exhibition 'Capitalo, Chthulu, and a Much Hotter Compost Pile'. The exhibition is about an idea of the agency of nature, personality and independence of ontological constructions. Bram Kuypers installs the wooden floor of a poultry farm in the gallery space, an intervention that raises questions for whom or for what kind the space has been designed. With the work 'Taxonomy Table' Madison Bycroft investigates a different kind of taxonomy and proposes a way to encounter the indescribable.
